MAINE YOUTH COURT IS HIRING A COORDINATOR!
The Maine Youth Court is a system that allows young people who have violated the law to be held accountable by their peers. In MYC, highly trained youth community volunteers are supported by the Coordinator to act as advocates and facilitators, helping divert real youth offenders from possible detention through this peer lead, restorative process.
LOCATION: MYC serves the communities of Greater Portland, Bath/Brunswick, and Lewiston Auburn. The region this staff position will serve is to be determined. The Main office is located in Portland.
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible. Resumes will be accepted until position is filled.
SUMMARY: Provides hands on coordination of Restorative Justice Youth Court.
